Middle School Science

The 21st century is into technology and the products of every day. The natural world and contemporary society will require scientifically literate citizens.Middle school science teaches students to think, learn, solve problems and make informed decisions using established practices (e.g. Scientific Method, Evidence-based practices). The skills developed by exploring the natural world and gathering evidence are important because science is everywhere. Through lab-based practices and learning about significant historical discoveries, students will learn how to use scientific Inquiry and method, think critically and recognize the role of science in 21st century society
