Miss Burchel is our new AfterCare Coordinator. She is also serving learning services and is going into her 8th year of teaching. She has both an elementary education and an exceptional needs degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has spent her time in education in a variety of schools and in a number of different locations, including Virginia, North Carolina, and teaching internationally in Nairobi, Kenya. These experiences have allowed her to teach in the public, private Christian, international, and home school settings. She serves with gratitude, recognizing that the Lord has allowed her to gain experience in a variety of learning environments. These experiences have enabled her to learn and gain wisdom from many different educators and has enriched her perspective on educational needs and environments.
Miss Burchel is an avid reader, loves her morning cup of coffee, travel, and has recently gotten into puzzling! Her biggest joy as a teacher comes from seeing students learn and gain confidence in their God-given abilities.
