Mrs. Riley came to Cresset when the doors opened - 1975. She has served in many capacities as the school grew and developed - teacher, Principal, Interim Administrator. She has demonstrated her love for the students and desire to promote Christian education time and time again. She has served under the leadership of Pastors of Cresset Baptist Church Ned Mathews, Jerry Collins, Danny Glover, and Mike Green. She has worked hand-in-hand with school administrators John McKee, Robert Cook, Jim Sconnley, Wendell Murray, Ernie Adkins, and Gail Murphy. Her dedication and flexibility have only proven that she is a capable and gifted educator. Her education, experience, and leadership skills truly equip her to fulfill the mission of the school. Calling: With confidence that God directs the path of His people, she confidently serves His children at Cresset. Education: She graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a B.S. in Science with a major in Biology and a minor in Math. She is currently taking classes toward the Masters in Christian School Administration at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Experience: Mrs. Riley has a rich professional background including work as a research assistant in pathology and hematology research labs at Duke University Medical School and as research assistant in bacteriophage research at Tufts University Dental School in Massachusetts. Her professional education experience includes middle school science at El Paso Independent School district, Texas, and Ysleta Independent School District, Texas; biology and chemistry at Ysleta Independent School District in Texas; high school math, science, business, and computer at Cresset. Mission: Her mission is to lead children to love and follow Christ, honoring Him through their lives. Desire: To Grow a Generation of Godly Graduates. |
