Benefits of the Princeton Review are...

Do you know how to prepare to meet the requirements for the "Heart for Ministry" program? Forms are available in the school office to turn in your community service hours as you complete them. Be sure to check with your Bible teacher or principal to make sure that the service you plan to do may be counted toward your required hours. Remember that for at least six hours per term you are required to continue participation in any extracurricular activity and for the first semester, you need to have at least 5 church related service hours and a total of 18 hours. If you do not turn in these ministry hours by December 21, your January 4 report card will show Incomplete for Bible.

Grade 11 and parents

Remember to register for the SAT (or ACT) twice during your junior year (Dec/Jan and May/June), and possibly again in the fall of the senior year. You can register on-line.

While considering colleges, junior students may take a day during the spring to visit, with no attendance penalty if the proper forms are filled out

Take some time to look at www.students.gov award-winning Web site, which connects students with U. S. Government services and information, including information on careers, planning an education, and paying for college.

Grade 12 and parents

College Information is available in the Cresset GUIDANCE OFFICE.

Please see MRs. Whitley.

Have you visited the colleges you are considering? You have take time out of  classes - with no attendance penalty - to visit a college. A principal, as well as your parents, must approve the time in advance.  If college applications have not yet been mailed, continue working toward that goal. If we can help you in your decision-making, please let us know.

If you have access to the web, use www.fafsa.ed.gov for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online in early January. It’s a fast, free, secure and easy way for students to apply. Students who apply online will get their application results 7 to 14 days faster than if they mail a paper FAFSA. Students can print a paper copy of the FAFSA to use as a worksheet.

www.ed.gov contains Funding Your Education, The Student Guide and links to other resources.

www.pin.ed.gov where students and parents can request a Personal Identification Number (PIN). The PIN may be used as an electronic signature for FAFSA on the Web, Renewal FAFSA and Corrections on the Web, and to access the National Student Loan Data System.
