The Sound of Music, May 4-6
Last weekend The Sound of Music was phenomenal.  General admission tickets at the door are still available for the two performances this weekend: tonight, 5/5, 7:00; and Saturday, 5/6, 3:00.  You will not want to miss this show!

Community Night at Moe’s, May 11, 5pm
Put it on your calendar! The whole Cresset community is invited to come out for a night of fun and fellowship at Moe’s, Thursday, May 11, 5pm.  Moe’s will donate 15-30% of the proceeds to Cresset between 5:00-9:00pm.  Come enjoy a meal and catch up with friends especially in the 6-7pm window, the special Cresset sit-together time.  Invite friends and family too.  All are welcome!

Book Fair, May 15-22
Cresset’s spring book fair is almost here!  Stop by to see the great selections of books.  The book fair will be open May 15-22, during school hours as well as before and after the spring concerts that week.  You may also shop online at www.scholastic.com/bf/cressetchristianacademy1If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mrs. Diggs at adiggs@cressetchristian.org

Elementary Field Day, K-Grade 5, May 24
Elementary Field Day for Kindergarten through Grade 5 is an extremely fun day with lots of activities for the students, and we need your help!  We invite all parent volunteers to eat lunch with us.  Please pick up a form in the school office to find out more information about how you can help.  Then return the form to the school office or to your teacher by May 17, to sign-up to be a volunteer and indicate if you will be joining us for lunch.

Monday, May 22, Full Regular Day
Tuesday, May 23, Dismiss at 11:30, Periods 1 & 5 Exams
Wednesday, May 24, Dismiss at 11:30, Periods 2 & 6 Exams
Thursday, May 25, Dismiss at 11:30, Periods 4&7 Exams
Friday, May 26, Dismiss 11:30, Period 8 Exam

Middle School Aftercare is available Tuesday-Thursday, May 23-25, for students who must remain on campus after 11:30.  A fee is charged (3:30 pickup, $10 / 4:30 pickup, $15 / 6:00 pickup, $25).

Summer Piano Lessons
If you or your student is interested in taking piano lessons during the summer, please pick up a registration form in the school office and return it along with payment to the school office no later than May 26, 2017.

Kindergarten Graduation, Thursday, May 25, 6:00 (NEW TIME)
The kindergarten graduation has been moved to an earlier time, starting at 6:00pm that Thursday, the last day for kindergarten.

2017-2018 School Supplies
Purchasing your school supplies has never been easier.  Starting June 1, you may go online at www.ClassBundl.com/Order to order your student’s school supplies for next year.  Look for more information coming!

FUNdamental Volleyball Mini-Camp, May 31-June 2
Mr. Hardy will be coaching the FUNdamental Volleyball Mini-Camp, May 31-June 2, 9am-3pm.  The camp is open to the community for current 3rd-9th grade students.  Cost is $130 which includes a $30 deposit which is due by May 19.   Registration forms may also be picked up in the school office.

Summer Books—Bridge the Gap
Summerbook Company offers fun summer activity books for Grades K-8 to bridge the gap during the summer.  2017 Catalogs were sent home in Friday folders for Elementary students.  Extra catalogs are available in the school office for Grades 6-8, as are some samples.  You may also go online at www.summerbookcompany.com to view and order yours today.
