Wilson Reading System®
Students who struggle with phonics and fluency are candidates for this intensive program. A dyslexic reader would find this program beneficial. Psycho-educational testing is recommended, although agreement by the parent, teacher and principal is sufficient. Students Grades 2 – 12 are engaged in an interactive learning process to enhance the skills of decoding and encoding letter sounds, word syllables, sentences, paragraphs and stories. The instructor guides the students through interactive activities that repeat the skills to support reading fluency and comprehension. Students meet individually or in learning level groups two times a week.
