Christ-Centered, College-Focused

Cresset Church opened the doors of its academy on August 25, 1975. The mission of Cresset Christian Academy was to encourage and grow academic and community leaders.

Today, our students continue to honor this mission by being active in their community and pursuing academic success in the classroom.  Our graduates leave with an understanding of what it means to be contributing member of a global society.  Our devoted faculty, small class sizes, academic rigor, and a diversity of extracurricular opportunities ensure that students have valuable experiences that will aid them in their lifelong journeys.

When you enter the doors of Cresset, you will find a Christ-centered community.  We invite you to visit and learn more about us.  In a busy world, Cresset is committed to cultivating the intellectual skills of our students while also creating an environment that stimulates the development and growth of each individual’s talents and spiritual gifts.

Our Purpose

Cresset Christian Academy’s purpose is to provide a distinctly Christian, well-rounded, college-preparatory education that includes a focus on partnership with the family and the at-large community.

Our Mission

Cresset Christian Academy’s mission is to cultivate the HEART of each student – to educate, to nurture, and to help shape their character in a Christ-centered environment grounded in the Truth of God’s Word.

Our Vision

Cresset Christian Academy’s vision is two-fold.  We desire to train the MIND of each student  in a rigorous academic environment.  We also desire to CULTIVATE our students’ talents so that they may pursue significant careers and opportunities beyond their time at Cresset.

Our vision means that we help our students identify their abilities and use them with competence through exposure to a variety of academic and extracurricular pursuits.  Academic and extracurricular activities are framed by a foundational question, “What is truthful about what is being done?”
