Director Ron Zedick returns for his seventh year as Producer and Director.  Mr. Zedick has an extensive background in educational and professional theater arenas and is quietly becoming a Cresset theatrical legend.  He has directed productions for Cresset since 2004.  His productions include the following: The Sound of Music, Little Princess, Man of La Mancha, Peter Pan, Annie, and Les Miserables.  Ron is known for his encouragement and attention to detail as students work on their role development.

Stage Director Stephanie Smith is a high school English and Theater Arts teacher at Cresset, graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill where she worked with Playmakers Repertory Company while earning her degree.  She worked with Mr. Zedick last year as stage director for Les Miserables and has also directed The Emperor's New Clothes and The Near-Sighted Knight and the Far-Sighted Dragon, two of Cresset's theater arts department productions.  Mrs. Smith enjoys coaching the students one-on-one and brings twenty-two years professional and community experience in teaching and directing both children and adults.

Choral and Orchestral Director Pamela Creel has been active in Cresset theatrical productions for many years including Man of La Mancha, Peter Pan, Annie, and Les Miserables.  She also directs the Concert Choir at Cresset and serves as Worship Leader and Choir Director at Cresset Baptist Church.

Music Director Rebecca Mattson is Cresset's elementary music and piano teacher.   She is no stranger to Cresset theater, having participated in and performed with no less than six productions, from Music Man to The Sound of Music to Oklahoma!  Having earned degrees in Elementary Education, Bible, and music, Ms. Mattson brings her love for all three to this year's production of The King and I

Technical Director Jeff Creel has worked with us for the last five years in our lights and sound as well as set design.  Recently he was promoted to technical director and his masterpiece was last year's Les Miserables set which featured a rotating stage.  Jeff will be the technical director for The King and I with some surprises in store for everyone.

Art Department Director Eric Rice is the Art Teacher at Cresset.  He has been involved in the art direction of every Cresset musical for the last 16 years.  Each year he leads a team of skilled high school art students who design, build, and paint everything the director can imagine!
