Lead Roles

Jongbin Baek is in his first year at Cresset as a Junior from Korea. This will be Jongbin’s first lead as the King.  His willing spirit and hard work along with his talent in both music and acting won him this role.

Audrianna Frederick is a Senior who has wowed audiences with her talent in Man of LaMancha, Peter Pan as Mrs. Darling, Annie as Mrs. Hannegan, and Les Miserables as Eponine.  Audrianna will play Anna in this year's performance.  She plans on attending East Carolina University and majoring in musical theater.

Lead Supporting Actors and Actresses

Lady Thiang  -  Hannah Kiefer (team 1)   Sara Albert (team 2) 

Hannah Kiefer is a Senior in her second year at Cresset and has been cast as Lady Thiang in The King and I.  As a homeschooler she participated in music and theater in her community.  Last year Hannah was cast as Fantine in Les Miserables.  Hannah is an accomplished violinist and an extraordinary actress.  Hannah is very gifted in many different areas and will be very successful in her college career.  Her intent is to major in art history.

Sara Albert, a Junior at Cresset, has made amazing strides since her first key role in Annie as Lilly St. Regis. Last year she was cast as Cosette in Les Miserables. She also played Mrs. Webb in Our Town this past fall.   This year, Sarah has been cast as Lady Thiang in The King and i.  Sara plans to continue to advance her theater and music talents.              

Tup Tim  -   Abigail Kim (team 1) and Heather Tilley (team2)

Abigail Kim is new to Cresset but she has already made an impact. Abigail has recently come to us from Korea and is a Sophomore.  She won the role of  Tup Tim for her interpretation of the role and her hard work.  This is her first lead role, but you will hear from Abigail many more times.

Heather Tilley is a Junior at Cresset and has been cast as Tup Tim in The King and I.  Heather was the Emily in Our Town this fall.  She was in Annie and Les Miserable as a supporting actress.  Heather is gifted and will grow in theater and music in the coming years at Cresset.

Lun Tha -Michael Mears (team 1)   Jonathan Stallings (team 2)

Michael Mears, a Sophomore at Cresset, was cast as Lun Tha in The King and I because of his continuous advancement in his acting and singing abilities.  This is Michael's first supporting lead but it will not be his last. 

Jonathan Stallings cast as Lun Tha is a Senior at Cresset.  Jonathan played both the priest, as well as a student in Les Miserables last year.  He also played in Our Town this fall.  Jonathan plans on attending Barton College on a cross-country athletic scholarship and majoring in athletic training and sports medicine.

Kralahome  - Dominique  Wright and Omar Meson as Understudy

Dominique Wright is a Junior  and new to the theater at Cresset.  He won the role of the Kralahome in The King and I,  and will be a great asset in this supportive role.

Omar Meson who is a Junior, has recently come to us from Dominican Republic.  He played an officer in Our Town this fall.   He received the role of Phra Alack and the understudy to the Kralahome.  We are excited to have Omar in our theater program at Cresset.

Prince Chulalongkorn- Jonathan Creel               

Jonathan Creel is an 8^th Grader but has been a part of our theater program for the last 3 years. Jonathan will be playing the role of Prince Chulalongkorn.  Jonathan played John in Peter Pan, a rising star in Annie, and Gavroche in Les Miserables.  Jonathan is the son of our music director Pam Creel and brings a lot of talent to Cresset.

Louis Leonowens  -  Travis Faircloth

Travis Faircloth is a 5^th grader at Cresset.  He participated in Peter Pan and Les Miserables.  This is his first supportive lead.  His vocal ability won him the role. We are glad to have a young rising talent in Travis.
